Preparation
After scheduling their mommy makeover, patients should start to prepare both their body and space to help achieve a smoother recovery. Patients should pre-arrange transportation home and time away from work and other social commitments to focus on their recovery. Blood-thinning medications and supplements should be discontinued, and any necessary prescriptions should be filled out preemptively. Patients should refrain from smoking six weeks before their surgical appointment, fully refraining from nicotine or tobacco use until fully healed.
